Saturday we were able to be a part to Shanda and Peters wedding day. We were also fortunate enough to be working with Barry and Stephanie of FatCat video. One of the highlights of the reception was playing the love story Barry and Steph did for the couple.

The day started off with the girls getting ready at Charisma Salon, it was nice to see one of our past brides, Taryn, who is a stylist there and was working on some of the bridesmaids hair. After the hair, it was back to the Shanda's parents house for make up and last minute preparation.

The ceremony was at St. Francis, in west Wichita. Shanda and her father arrived at the church in a really sporty Chrysler Sebring Convertible. It was a beautiful ceremony with great vocalists.
The couple saw each other before the ceremony in a special tender review, so we had all the formal and family photos taken before the ceremony started. As soon as the ceremony was over, we were able to go straight to Rolling Hills Country club for the reception, and take a few minutes to enjoy the beautiful day as we had a short photo session on the golf course.

The reception included a sit down meal and cheese cake. A friend of the couple acted as MC and DJ, and started the evening off with traditional cutting of the cake, toasts and first dances. We were able to have one more short photo session with the couple around sunset out on the golf course, before they danced the night away.

We would really like to thank Peter, Shanda and all the family for making our job so enjoyable. We wish you both the best.

Brett & Cheryl
