Jill & Rob's wedding couldn't have been more perfect for the two of them. The beautiful Oakdale Park Formal Garden in Salina, Kansas was a lovely background for their "I do's". There were so many personal touches that helped make it uniquely theirs, including their handwritten wedding vows that included a little humor.

As Jill, escorted by her dad, walked down the long petal strewn aisle, it was the first time Rob had seen his beautiful bride that day. Jill had her hair in an up-do that accentuated her graceful features and wore an elegant strapless form fitted gown with a lace overlay that buttoned down the back with crystal buttons and a chocolate brown sash tied in a bow at her waist. She looked so classic (like Grace Kelly or Sarah Jessica Parker) that it was worth all the effort Jill, her mom & sisters went through to find the perfect dress. Instead of a veil, Jill wore a crystal and pearl hair pin that added the perfect touch to her look. Jill's bouquet was made of beautiful green tipped yellow roses. The bridesmaids wore chocolate brown spaghetti strapped dresses with a gathered bodice and gold heels. The two flower girls wore yellow dresses with chocolate brown sashes to match Jill. Rob and his mates, were very dashing in their tan suits and white shirts.

As guests arrived at the wedding site, they received the program which was designed in light green, cream and brown layers to create a fan to help keep them cool. With the normally strong Kansas winds, the couple opted to create a unity water instead of having a unity candle. Both Jill & Rob's moms placed a vase of colored water at the front of the gazebo, one yellow and one blue. When the couple poured them together, it became their favorite color, green.

They carried the green theme over to the reception at the Holiday Inn with vases of green apples tied with a chocolate ribbon as centerpieces. The couple was very touched by all the friends and family who traveled to share their day with them. Especially, the groom's parents, brother and two groomsmen, who traveled all the way from Australia. The reception went off without a hitch. The most touching moment was when Jill's sisters surprised the couple during the toasts by singing Rascal Flats "My Wish" to the couple.

Thanks again to Rob, Jill, your parents, siblings and friends for being such a blast to work with. To the girls, for letting us hang out with them all day, and to the guys for being so stoked about the photos. Also, thank you to Jill's wedding coordinator, Terry, for helping make the day run so smoothly and for keeping us hydrated in the Kansas heat and humidity. Rob & Jill, have a great time in Antigua - We had a great time sharing your day with you.
