We met Mandie and the girls at Julie Balay salon where the girls were getting their hair done. After Mandie's hair was done, we headed over to Eric Fisher Salon where Mandie had her make-up done. While the girls were all getting ready, the guys were hanging out at the church (Grace Presbyterian Church) playing a little ping pong before they started getting ready.

Mandie found her stunning dress in Atlanta by designer Rivini and the flowergirl's dresses were designed by Vera Wang. All the girls carried handmade monogramed handkerchiefs made by Mandie's mom. The flowers were beautiful and done by Jared's aunt. The girls carried two toned red rose bouquets and the guys wore fragrant white orchids.

Mandie had one shot that she wanted to make sure we got and it was of her handing her dad back his Visa card that she had used for wedding expenses. He was so surprised that he couldn't help but, laugh - lightening the mood just before walking his daughter down the long rose petal lined aisle to the very happy groom.

After the lovely ceremony, which was highlighted by a full formally dressed choir and violins, we headed to the reception at the Petroleum Club. Jared's mom made the most amazing groom's cake covered by a fondant icing flag with a picture of Jared during his service in Iraq.

It was definately my most favorite groom's cake ever, even without tasting it! After all the traditional reception dances, toasts, etc. the party was on with the highlight being a tie between Jared singing "My Girl" to Mandee and the groomsmen's choreographed dance to "Bye, bye, bye" by the Backstreet Boys. At the end of the reception, the couple exited to a shower of sparklers.

Mandie and Jared, we were so honored to be part of your day and appreciate the sacrifices you made to serve our country.
In honor of Independence Day we would like to thank all of our veterans, active military and their families who have given and continue to give so much for us to enjoy our freedom - God Bless America!
~Brett & Cheryl
