Christi's best friend and bridesmaid, Jana, is a stylist at Eric Fisher Salon (east location) and did Christi's hair is an elaborate up-do that looked stunning. The amazing team at Eric Fisher did a fantastic job on the six bridesmaids (including Christi's two sisters), Christi's niece, Paige, the flower girl, and Christ's mom. As the girls were getting their hair & make-up done, the guys were hanging out at one of the groomsmen's (Mike's) home, playing pool, darts, etc. and having a great time relaxing before they had to start getting ready.

Christi wore a stunning strapless gown from Reni's bridal, with gathered full skirt and chapel length train. Her veil was simple but, cathedral length and extended past the train of her gown. She wore killer heels with a rhinestone beaded strap around the ankle that tied with a ribbon in the back. The final touch to her look was a pair of crystal chandelier earrings that added just the right amount of glam to go with her dress. She looked like a princess according to Paige, and I think everyone agreed. The bridesmaids wore strapless cranberry red dresses with matching shawls and carried smaller versions of Christi's fall colored bouquets of calla lilies and roses created by the Flower Factory.

When Christi's son, Tyler, finally got to see his mom in her beautiful gown, he was so enthralled with how beautiful she looked. He kept touching her dress, veil, holding her hand or just trying to be close to her. It was obvious how proud he was to have her for his mom. When Christi told him how much she loved him, he replied, "I love you more!", her reply was the same as any mom's would be, that she didn't think that was possible. It was a very touching moment that we were honored to witness.

After the wedding, the guests waited on the front steps of St. Mary's Cathedral for the couple to exit and cheered them on as they boarded the trolley. The wedding party joined the couple on the trolley and we followed them to Riverside Park for a few shots before heading to the Scottish Rite temple for the reception.

The reception site was beautifully decorated with tall vases of white calla lilies as centerpieces, except for the head table (placed in the center of the main hall) which was decorated with large topiaries of flowers matching the ladies bouquets. The wedding party and couple were introduced, entering down the grand staircase. Dinner by Corporate Caterers was delicious as always and served buffet style.

The dance started with a terrific band, called the Stars, from OKC, playing hits that kept everyone dancing. As good as the band was, the chocolate fountain was the biggest hit, at least with the kids.

Kirk & Christi, it was such an honor to be part of your day. Thank you for choosing us to document your day for you. We wish you many more joyous days together!
