We started the day off early in order to meet Rose at her parent's home in Topeka, Ks, so we could get a few pics of her getting her hair done. Since their cat thought Rose's shirt was the perfect place for a nap, she wore one of her dad's button-up shirts while her childhood friend Lindsey curled and curled and curled Rose's hair. It was worth the time it took to curl Rose's thick hair since she wanted to wear it down with a simple tiara.

Rose was so excited and couldn't wait to get into her dress. After getting her make-up done at the MAC counter at Dillard's in the West Ridge Mall with the rest of her bridesmaids, she was finally able to slip into her dress at the church. Rose looked stunning in her beautiful ivory gown with sequined bodice and gathered waist. For her something old, Rose wore an heirloom necklace that belonged to her Grandmother, and her something blue was a family pin of a little bluebird that her mother called the bluebird of happiness. But, the most touching thing Rose wore was a bracelet in honor of Adam's dad.

Adam & Rose had decided to see each other before the ceremony so they could take all the pictures beforehand and be able to head straight to the reception. Rose was so anxious and excited to finally get to see Adam, and from the look on Adam's face when he turned to see his lovely bride, he felt the same. With the extra time we had by taking the formals beforehand, we were able to spend some time with Rose & Adam around the beautiful church grounds at St. Matthew's Catholic Church.

After the traditional Catholic ceremony, the couple exited the church to a wall of bubbles and headed to the reception which was held at the Expo Center's Heritage Hall. The hall looked incredible at night with the arched windows and outdoor gazebo lit up. Adam & Rose had a roasted pig with all the sides for a real BBQ dinner. After dinner, the dance got underway with the couple first dance to Here by Me by Three Doors Down. It was a great party and the guests were having a great time dancing the night away, including Rose's grandpa who had a great time dancing with his daughters - Rose's mom, Stephanie and all her sisters.

Adam & Rose, thank you so much for making our job so easy and making it such a joy to capture your special day. We had a great time working you guys, watching your love and affection for each other, is what make our job so great. Have a great time at the Riviera!

~Cheryl & Brett
