The marriage of Patrick and Carolyn took place on Saturday, August 20, 2007
at Eastminister Chruch. For Carolyn, the day began early with the arrival of
the hair stylist at her parent's home. Carolyn, several of the girls,
Carolyn's brothers and father all had their hair done in preparation of the
wedding. Once all the ladies arrived at the house and were ready, the White
Unified Party Bus showed up and took them all to the church where they would
get into their dresses. Carolyn's dress was a really beautiful strapless
white dress that she found in Texas. The dress was a zip up the back with
buttons that laid over the zipper. Carolyn's sister and mother helped button
up her dress using a crochet needle. The eight bridesmaids wore chocolate
brown strapless taffeta Tea-Length dresses with silver high heels.

After the bus left the ladies at the church, it was off to Wichita Country
Club to pick up the guys and bring them to the church to get ready.

Once Carolyn and Patrick were ready, the sanctuary was cleared and the
couple saw each other for the first time in their wedding attire. After a
few moments together we began with photographs of them in front of the large
stained glass window. We were then joined by the rest of the bridal party
and then family members for the group photos.

The ceremony was a beautiful event. The officiant was Reverend Dr. Steven
Marsh, who after a brief sermon, witnessed the statement of vows and the
exchange of rings. Following the exchange of rings, the couple lit the unity
candle while soloist Kelsey Emery sang Ave Maria. After the final blessing
the couple was pronounced husband and wife, kissed and exited the sanctuary.
As the couple exited the church to go to the reception they were greeted by
handfuls of lavender tossed by all the guests.

Once back aboard the bus, the bridal party headed to the Wichita Country
Club. Once there we commandeered several golf carts and took the entire
wedding party out on the course for some photos at sunset. We then finished
up with a few photos of Patrick and Carolyn together on one of the many
bridges around the course.

Then it was time for the reception. As the guests gathered around, the
couple was formally announced into the reception and proceeded to the cake
table to cut the cake and toast each other. Then it was time for dinner. As
dinner was being eaten, we gave Carolyn's mom and dad an ipod with a slide
show from Carolyn's bridal session on it, for them to share with friends and
family.

Once dinner was done, the couple made their way to the dance floor where
Patrick's dad's band performed, and the couple had their first dance,
followed by the parents dance. One of the things that was important to
Patrick to have at the reception was a Funnel Cake trailer. The Funnel Cake
trailer was hired so that guests were able to go and pick out their very own
funnel cake made fresh and they were able to put whatever toppings on it
they wanted. As guests left, they were given small jars of honey along with
accent plates. The rest of the evening was spent dancing to the great music
provided by the live band with Patrick's dad playing the guitar and enjoying
the company of friends and family.

Thank you so much to Patrick, Carolyn and their families for making this
such a wonderful event to be a part of. We all had a great time and wish you
many happy years together.

sincerely

Brad and Jill

August 11, 2007

What a fun way to start a wedding day. Brad was surprised by his groomsmen and friends when a trip to the batting cages wound up a full fledged softball game at Linwood Park. Once the guys arrived and warmed up, teams were chosen and the game began, and in typical fashion, Brads team rallied to win in the bottom of the last inning. Following the game, every one went to Heros for some food, and to test there knowledge of trivia.

While the guys were busy with the games, the ladies all met at Eric Fisher Salon to have their hair done, before heading to the Mac counter at Dillards for makeup. Then to the church to get in their gowns.

The photos began with a traditional viewing of the bride and groom followed by shots of the couple. We then moved into the photos of the wedding party and family. A beautiful ceremony followed with MIrko as a soloist.

Following the ceremony the couple left the church to a shower of flower pedals and an awaiting trolley. After a few more photos of the bridal party around the church, they got back on the trolley for a quick stop at Nafscar park for some more photos then on to the Petroleum club for the reception.

After being announced into the reception, the couple went over to cut the cake and have the toasts before making there way through the buffet line. Once dinner was over it was time for the couples first dance, then parents dances.

We had a very great time with Brad and Jill and all their family and friends. Thank you so much for allowing us to share this very special day with you.

What a perfect August day for a wedding. As we arrived at the church, the families were finishing the final preparations and getting the decorations finished. The church was the Alexanderwohl Mennonite Church located in the country just outside of Goessel, it is a beautiful old country church built in 1886.

The ladies arrived to assist with last minute preparations and to have their hair and make up done. The guys arrived some time later to get into their tuxes and get ready for the ceremony. Once the couple was ready, they had a brief meeting in the sanctuary, where Darren was able to see his beautiful bride in her dress for the first time. Then it was time to start with the photographs. It was such a beautiful day that we were able to take the bridal party out side for photos around the church. The ceremony began with the seating of the family and then processional in. Jacey was escorted in by her father. Once the ceremony was over, Darren and Jacey went outside of some photographs of the couple at sunset while the friends and family enjoyed a slide show. After the slide show the guests lined the walk way as the couple made their way over to the reception tent.

After a quick bite to eat, the couple cut the cake and then spent the rest of the evening socializing with all the friends and family who came to celebrate their special day with them.

Thanks again to Darren and Jacey for being such a great couple to work with and for allowing us to share in you special day. Also thanks to all the friends and family who made us feel so welcome.

Best wishes

Nick and Kimmie

Click Here to view the Debut Trailer of the wedding day.

Kimmie and Nick's wedding at Central Community Church was the perfect beginning of their journey together and a confirmation of their faith and love for each other.

Kimmie started the day early, getting her done at Planet Hair and then traveling to Dillard's to get her make up done at the Lancome counter. Kimmy and the girls slipped into their dresses at the church. Kimmie's dress was an exquisite gown with beaded bodice and train and the girls wore white and wine colored dresses. Before the girls slipped into their dresses and Kimmie walked down the aisle to her waiting groom, the girls played a game of "catch the grape". It was worth the early start when Nick saw his beautiful bride for the first time. After a few moments together, we started with a few shots of the couple around the church and then the wedding party and families.

The wedding began with the lighting of the candelabras by Kimmie's cousins, followed by the lighting of the unity candle tapers by Kimmie and Nick's moms. After the exchange of vows and rings, the couple lit the unity candle and received communion while a friend of the groom's family beautifully sang, "Grow Old with Me".

After the wedding, the guest were guided to the reception hall to await the announcement of the couple. After the couple cut the cake (by Cameo Cakes), toasted each other, and grace was given by the groom's father, the quests were treated to a delicious steak/chicken dinner catered by Blue Moon Catering. After dinner, the couple was toasted by Kimmie's maid of honor and childhood best friend, Courtney, followed by a touching toast by Nick's brother and best man, Jeremy. The couple was sent off by family and friends blowing bubbles as they made their way through the large crowd. Their day was all they had dreamed it would be and more!

Kimmie & Nick, we were so honored to share your day with you and your families - you were all so terrific to work with and we can't wait for you to see all the terrific shots we got. Enjoy your Honeymoon and have a great time relaxing on the beach!

Joey and Shelby

August 3, 2007

Shelby's day started early as the girls had their hair and make up done at her moms house. While Ty did the hair and make up the girls enjoyed bagels from Panera as well as orange juice, Fresca and vodka. The guys all met at the Good Egg to enjoy a breakfast together before meeting up with the ladies at the church.

Upon arriving at the church the wedding party all got dressed in their formal attire and got prepared for photos. As Joey stood at the altar, Shelby entered the sanctuary, and the two enjoyed a quite moment together as they saw each other for the first time that day. Then it was time for the formal portraits with the bride and groom, wedding party and families.

After the photos we had a break before the ceremony. Shelby decided to have someone run to Taco Bell for her while Joey played poker with the guys and watched "Wedding Crashers". As the time for the ceremony approached, everyone got back into their dresses and tuxes. Once the family was seated and the bridal party entered, all eyes turned as Shelby was escorted by her step father down the aisle. The ceremony and mass were beautiful.

After the ceremony, the couple left the church to a shower of rice and boarded the trolly to take them to the reception. Once at the reception the couple cut the cake, and then enjoyed a nice dinner. Following the dinner the couple was toasted by the best man and maid of honor, before the garter and bouquet toss ( the boquet was caught by Shelby's sister). Then it was time for the couples first dance followed by a dance with their parents. After a few dances it was time for the dollar dance, where the honor to be first to dance with Shelby was put up for auction. Fierce bidding followed.

Congratulations to Shelby and Joey, we had a great time at your wedding and are very thankful you allowed us to share in your special day.

Thanks
brett

David and Sarah

July 28 2007

What a fun wedding. Sarah began her day at Noell Shaw hair salon where she and the ladies all had their hair done for the day. After that it was off to Von Mar for make up, and then Bella Luna for a lunch. Mean while David was getting checked into the hotel, and then met the rest of the guys at the Alley for some bowling. After a few frames of bowling, it was off to the races as the guys managed to turn go kart racing into a mild version of bumber cars.

We all arrived at the church to begin the final stages of preparation. The ladies got into their dresses, as the men put on their tux's. Photos started with a private viewing where David was able to see Sarah in her dress for the first time. Then the formal portrait session started with all the wedding party and family.

The ceremony was very beautiful with the sun illuminating the stained glass window behind the couple. And as the guests were ushered out they all gathered outside the church for a bubble send off for the couple.

We left the church and made a quick stop at a local park for a few more photos then it was off to the Hyatt and the reception. Ron (the DJ) was waiting as we arrived, and announced the couple into the ball room. After dinner we went back out side for a few more photos at sunset, then it was time to start the reception in earnest. It was a really fun dance. And as we were preparing to wind down the evening, the baseball game across the street ended and the fire works began. David, Sarah and I ventured outside one last time for a few shots of the couple at evenings end with a fireworks show in the background.

Thanks again, to David and Sarah and all their friends and family who made this event so much fun to be a part of
