We met Katie at her parents house where the girls were getting their hair and make-up done. Soon it was time to head to the church, St. Peter's Catholic Church, where we met up with Barry & Steph with Fat Cat Produtions, and the girls were able to slip into their dresses.

Katie wore a stunning halter dress with cathedral train and elaborate beading. Katie's hair was in an up-do with tiara and veil with a blusher. The bridesmaids wore red dresses with icicle type beading and short white capes. Katie's mom surprised Katie with a full length hooded cape and furred muffle to keep her warm. The flowers were done by Moore Flowers and Katie's bouquet was a cascade of white lilies, red roses with rhinestone centers, berries and accented with a rosary given to her by her brother Nick.

The couple chose not to see each other before the ceremony. So, the first time Eric saw his beautiful bride was when the grand doors to church were opened, as the harp played, and Katie's dad escorted her down the long aisle. The couple was filled with emotion as they exchanged vows, lit the unity candle, and exchanged the sign of peace with their parents. After the nuptial mass, the couple exited the church to a shower of fake snow as they made their way to the waiting horse drawn carriage.

The reception hall at the church had been transformed by curtain lined walls and red linen covered tables with beautiful centerpieces. The wedding cake carried the snowflake theme with snowflake and icicle accents. A snowflake ice sculpture with the couples initials was the centerpiece of the buffet table. The guests also enjoyed the chocolate fountain. Before dinner was served, Katie's brother, Nick, presented the couple with a framed matrimonial blessing from the pope that he brought back for them from Italy. After the dinner, video and emotional toasts, the couple started the dance, DJ'd by Scott Ward with AMM. During the dance, most of the guests joined in the grand march as the party was just beginning.

Eric & Katie - It was such a pleasure getting to know each of you and documenting your wedding day. With the support of such close families and wonderful friends, we know you'll have many happy years together.
God Bless you both and thanks again,
Brett & Cheryl

We met Ashley and the girls at the Courtyard Mariott downtown early on Saturday. Once the girls were ready it was time to head to the church, St. Anthony's Catholic Church in downtown Wichita. It was a drizzly, windy day and despite the weather, Ashley was all smiles as she entered the church. The elaborate interior of St. Anthony's was a beautiful background for their wedding mass.

Ashley wore a stunning gown from Reni's Bridal Boutique with exquisite lace overlay and intriquite beading. Ashley's bouquet was filled with Casablanca roses. The bridesmaids all loved their black a-line halter dresses and couldn't wait to dance in them.

As the girls took a few pics around the church, Patrick and the guys were hanging out in the basement telling jokes and remembering some fun times they've had together and looking forward to sharing this day with Patrick.

Ashley stated to her friends that she wasn't at all nervous about marrying Patrick because she had "no doubts" but, she was nervous about everyone watching her as she walked down the aisle. All eyes were on the beautiful bride as she walked down the aisle to a beaming Patrick as the groom's uncle played the violin.

Luckily the rain ended and we were able to take some shots of the happy couple by the Keeper of the Plains statue along the river and by the Christmas lights in front of Century II before heading to the reception at St. Anne's. Ashley and Patrick were such good sports and despite the gusting winds, they were excited to get some fun shots.

The dinner and reception went off without a hitch. Patrick was thrilled over his groom's cake in the shape of a Pabst Blue Ribbon beer can. The party began with their first dance "Made for two" by White Ghost Shivers.

Ashley and Patrick' thank you so much for letting us be a part of your day. Your joy was contagious and we truly enjoyed sharing your day with you. We wish you much happiness as you start your life together and many joyous years to come.
